The Role
To support our rapid business expansion in Thailand, we are seeking a pioneering Business Development Manager to establish and drive our growth in the Thai market. This is a foundational role for our new Thailand office, offering the unique opportunity to shape our market strategy, build the sales pipeline from the ground up, and develop long-term partnerships with key clients. You will be the face of our company in Thailand.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and formulate new business plans in Thailand, development necessary and suitable sales channels and assist in marketing plans, partnerships, and business projects
- Act as a trusted advisor to our key clients by deeply understand their business objectives and aligning our payment & CRM solutions to meet their business needs and strategies
- Collaborate with regional cross-functional teams including finance, sales operations and product development
- Drive ongoing, strategic engagement with our clients and ensure ROI achievement, through periodic business reviews that provide relevant KPIs & analysis, best practices, and process optimization
- Serve as the expert on the Thai competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and customer needs, providing insights to guide product and marketing strategy
Qualifications
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in sales, business development and account management in online marketing products or technology solutions to enterprise clients, ideally focusing in marketing and/or customer engagement functions
- Significant experience in working with clients who have complex, multinational operations and aggressive growth plans
- Excellent client facing experience especially in facilitating and engaging dialogue with C-level and senior executives from Fortune 500 firms
- Success in working in fast paced environment leveraging modern enterprise sales tools and formal sales methodologies
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the entire F2F & eCom payments ecosystem will be a plus
- Excellent commercial, negotiation, and presentation skills and experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit
- Native in Thai and proficiency in English reading & writing
